Jane was born at Camberwell, London.
They married at Camberwell, England,1872.
In the 1881 British Census, he is listed as J George SNOWSILL, born Walworth, age 30, printer,married of 28 Peckham Grove,Camberwell,Surrey, England.
She is listed as Jane SNOWSILL, born 1953,married.
Also listed are Beatrice, born 1874 at Camberwell (scholar), Madeline born 1878 at Camberwell,Percey born 1879 at Camberwell.
On the 1901 Census of Wales and England,George J SNOWSILL is aged 47, Jane aged 43, Madeline Chandler is aged 22, Leonard James is aged 12,Grace Edith is aged 11. This means that Beatrice Georgina came to New Zealand before her parents or Madeline, as she married in Wellington in 1897.
I have been unable to find George or Jane on a Christchurch Electoral Roll or Postal Directory 1905-1911.
Information forwarded by Garry Snowsill, solves the mystery of what happened to them, as he has photos of their graves in Sydney. They are buried at Saint Saviours Cemetery, Punchbowl,Sydney.

and also, with them Grace Edith born 1891,died 9 January 1956 (Ref row I No 37)
Clementine born 1892, died 17 August 1956,aged 64 years (Ref Row New C,No 19).
Madeline Chandler SNOWSILL,age 24, married Charles Walter COOPER 6 July 1908, at St Michel and All Angels, (Church of England)Christchurch, New Zealand.
Madeline was born Peckham, Surrey, England 15 September 1877, according to family information (Enfield,England on her marriage certificate).
A Witness at the wedding was a G.E. SNOWSILL who was probably the youngest sister, Grace Edith. G E SNOWSILL's address was given as Staples House,Strickland St, Spreydon, Christchurch.
The other witness was George Joseph SNOWSILL, Cnr Leath and Strickland Streets,Spreydon.
A grand-daughter of this couple employed a researcher in 1989 to find out more about her family.*
Another sister, Beatrice Georgina,aged 23, married Frederick BOYCE on 15 December 1897 at Terrace Congregational Church, Wellington, New Zealand. On her marriage certificate, her place of birth is London, England. Non of the family were wtinesses.
* According to this researcher, the father of George Joseph SNOWSILL was William Joseph SNOWSILL, a compositor.
Leonard James SNOWSILL, born In Peckham, London, married in Australia in 1917-Clementine AYNSLEY, and they had daughters, Margaret,born 1918 and Doris Mary born 1920 and a son Phillip A. Clementine could be the one mentioned above who is buried at Saint Saviour's Cemetery, Sydney.
Grace Edith was born in Dulwich,London. She is buried with her parents at Saint Saviour's Cemetery,Punchbowl,Sydney, Australia, (ref Row I, No 37). She died 9 January 1956. Her headstone says "Our sister".
